Jessica Koln is a Partner at Justice Law Firm and one of New York’s most formidable employment law advocates. Since joining the firm in 2016, she has built a practice devoted to fighting for the rights of workers facing discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
Jessica’s clients range from entry-level employees to senior executives who have been subjected to unlawful treatment in the workplace. She handles cases involving race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, and national origin discrimination — as well as complex retaliation and whistleblower claims under state and federal law.
Her civil rights practice extends beyond the workplace. Jessica has successfully litigated cases against government entities for constitutional violations, represented plaintiffs in class actions challenging discriminatory institutional policies, and worked with advocacy organizations to advance systemic change through the courts.
A natural litigator, Jessica has tried cases to verdict in both state and federal court and has argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She is known for her sharp cross-examination skills, her command of complex discrimination law, and her genuine passion for the clients she represents.
Jessica is a frequent speaker at bar association events, law school panels, and employee rights seminars. She serves on the board of a nonprofit supporting low-income workers in wage theft and discrimination matters and regularly provides pro bono representation.
When not in the office or courtroom, Jessica enjoys hiking, reading, and mentoring first-generation law students. She lives in Hoboken, New Jersey.
