Daniel Brown is the newest member of Justice Law Firm’s attorney roster, having joined in 2023 after completing his Juris Doctor at Cardozo School of Law. He works primarily within the firm’s personal injury practice group under the supervision of founding partner James Sterling.

In his three years of practice, Daniel has assisted on over 80 personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall cases, construction site injuries, and dog bite claims. He has a particular talent for client intake and investigation — his thorough approach to gathering evidence, identifying witnesses, and preserving documentation has been cited by partners as a key strength.

Daniel graduated from Cardozo’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Program, which gave him hands-on experience in depositions, openings, and cross-examination — skills he is putting to use in increasingly active roles on active cases. He approaches every client interaction with genuine warmth and a determination to make a stressful process as manageable as possible.

Raised in Brooklyn by a family of Haitian immigrants, Daniel understands firsthand the challenges faced by individuals navigating an unfamiliar legal system after an injury. His conversational Haitian Creole allows him to communicate directly with members of New York’s Haitian community — a particularly meaningful capability given the firm’s commitment to serving all New Yorkers.

Daniel is an active member of the New York State Bar Association’s Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section, and he volunteers regularly with a legal clinic serving undocumented immigrants who have been injured at work.

Outside the office, Daniel is a passionate basketball player, an avid reader of legal thrillers, and a devoted fan of the New York Knicks.
